Carl Christian Thier practices in the areas of International Business Law, including Corporate Law, and International Contract Law. His focus is on assisting international investors in the United States. He works regularly with international companies who wish to expand in the US, and guides them through the process of setting up the right corporate entity, optimizing tax liability and general liability in the US and with regards to protection of the client owned foreign entity. Mr. Thier negotiates and drafts complex commercial agreements between the foreign business and the US contract partner, including Joint Venture Agreements, License Agreements and Distribution Agreements.

Mr. Thier teaches International Business Law with the Lawline Insituite in New York. Also, Mr. Their has been appointed as Honorary Vice Consul for the Republic of Austria. He is a member of the steering committee of the International Association of Law Firms “Galexy”. Mr. Thier studied law at the University of Trier in Germany. He studied International Law at the University of Maastricht, NL, and International Comparative Law at the University of Miami, FL. He is admitted to practice in the state of New York, as well as in Germany.
